Peggy Smurr has been planning events in the Battle Creek area for nearly two decades. I earned a Associate in Arts from Kellogg Community College in 1981 and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Michigan University in 1984.  I became passionate sewing and crafting early in my life.  I saw the stress that brides go through and wanted so badly to help them. I knew I could. I love bringing lifelong dreams to life.  I enjoy, just as much, doing alterations and designing dream dresses. 

For years I have helped plan events and create decorations and favors to suite many different themes.    Although I am qualified to plan any event, I wanted to focus my energy primarily on weddings. I enjoy having my creativity challenged.  I opened my own business so I would be free of commissions and any other compromising arrangements. I am determined to only serve the interests of my clients.

Creativity flows within my business.  It has become a family affair in recent years with the addition of my daughter, Carrie, my daughter-in-law, Samantha.  Both have been a wonderful inspiration of ideas and designs.  My mother-in-law, Pat, been sewing for over 40 years and specializes in keepsake quilts.
